Research
So far there is one document here: the plan for the research. The three studies it describes (a national review of published policies, a survey of newsrooms, and a look at how archives change over time) haven't produced findings yet, and we won't publish national percentages from a sample that can't support them. Each paper says how far it has been reviewed.

The Permanence Paradox: Research Prospectus and National Research Program
Sets out the central and supporting research questions, competing perspectives to investigate, intended scholarly outputs, and the design of three studies: a systematic national content analysis, an institutional transparency survey, and a longitudinal archival practice analysis.

Literature
17 sources identified during planning, grouped by topic. The structured literature review has not been conducted yet, and none of these sources has been re-audited, so treat them as a reading list rather than findings.
