What this site collects

• Browsing: no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, and no third-party font or script requests. The web server keeps standard access logs for security and reliability.
• Correction and contact requests: your name, email address, any affiliation you state, and what you write. These are used only to review and answer your request, and to verify institutional affiliation where needed.

What this site does not accept

The site has no file uploads. Please do not send personal legal documents, records about criminal proceedings, or sensitive personal stories through the form. A secure intake channel will only be offered after a dedicated security and data-retention review.

What is published

Requester names and email addresses are never published. The public corrections log shows only a reference number, the record affected, the outcome, and a short de-identified summary. Correspondence from institutions is quoted only on terms they have agreed to.

Confidentiality limits

AEP cannot promise confidentiality beyond what it can protect technically and legally. Records may be subject to legal process.
